Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Level X Consulting LLC ("Level X," "we," "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and we don't sell your information.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you take our fit check or contact us, we collect:
- Contact details: your name, business name, email address and, if you add it, your website.
- Your answers: your type of business, where you think you're losing customers, how people book with you, team size, timeline, whether a paid first project works for you, and any notes you write.
- Booking details: if you schedule a call, the name, email and any details you enter in our scheduling tool.
- AI leak check: the website address you enter and the email where you want the report.
- Emails: anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting and content providers receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request so the site can load.
- Usage data, only with your consent: if you allow analytics or marketing cookies, we collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, referring site and approximate location based on IP address.
We don't ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information like health details, financial account numbers or government ID numbers through this site.
How we use it
- To see whether we're a good fit for your business and to follow up with you.
- To schedule and prepare for calls you book.
- To reply to your questions and send you information you asked for.
- To run our AI leak check and email you the report, and to send one personalized follow-up email after you finish the fit check.
- To run, secure and fix the website.
- With your consent, to understand which pages are useful and to measure our advertising.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
We only send you marketing emails if you've asked for them or if the law otherwise allows it, and every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
How we use AI
Some features on this site use AI, and we label them clearly.
- Leak check: AI reads the public website you enter and writes a short review. It only looks at public pages, and the report can miss things.
- Follow-up email: after you finish the fit check, AI writes one personal email based on your answers. You'll only get one, and you can reply "stop" anytime.
- We don't use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similar effects, and we don't ask our AI providers to train their models on your information.
- To prevent abuse and keep costs under control, we limit how often each feature can be used and keep request records for up to 30 days.
How long we keep it
- Fit check and inquiry details: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Client records: for as long as we work together and afterward as needed for taxes, accounting and legal reasons.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings in Google Analytics, which we set to 14 months.
- AI tool request records: up to 30 days, for abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Your cookie choice: until you change it or clear your browser storage.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy.
- Correct information that's wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop using your information for marketing.
- Withdraw consent you gave us, such as for cookies.
To make a request, email info@levelxinc.com with the subject "Privacy request." We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the rights above, plus the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.
We don't sell personal information for money. If you allow marketing cookies, Google and Meta may receive information about your visit, which some state laws may consider "sharing." You can opt out anytime by turning marketing cookies off in Cookie settings, or by using Global Privacy Control.
In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories described in What we collect: identifiers (name, email), commercial information (your business needs), internet activity (with consent) and approximate location (from IP address). We don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision email.
Visitors in the EU and UK
Level X Consulting LLC is the controller of your personal data. We rely on these legal bases:
- Steps before a contract and legitimate interests: to review your fit check, reply to you and schedule calls.
- Consent: for analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation: for tax and accounting records.
You also have the right to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, limited access and reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Our apps
This policy covers our website. Each of our mobile apps also has its own privacy policy that explains what that app collects and how it works, and those app policies apply when you use the app.
- Pausely: Pausely Privacy Policy and Terms. Pausely stores its content on your device, doesn't show behavioral ads, and is built to meet COPPA and Google Play Families requirements.
In general, our apps may use service providers for app distribution and purchases (Google Play, Apple App Store), subscription management (RevenueCat), and analytics and crash reporting. We never see or store your full payment card details.

Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We'll change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant, we'll post a notice on the site.
